Distractions and sleep

What distractions have to do with sleep?

You are more vulnerable to distractions if you did not get enough sleep!

It does not make a difference to the number of phone calls arriving but if you didn't get enough sleep then
  • Other things you are usually able to ignore (e.g. collegue talks in the background) drag you away from your current thoughts.
  • It is far more difficult to get back to focus.
  • You are suffering because of the higher impact of distractions.
So sleeping enough is not only healthy but also a productivity boost.
